A MAN who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Marlborough town centre is to face trial by judge and jury.
Benedict Hibberd is said to have groped the victim outside a Marlborough hostelry on May 26.
The 33-year-old, of Farm Lane, Aldbourne, pleaded not guilty to one count of sexual assault when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
It is alleged that he touched the woman between the legs over her clothing outside a pub on the High Street.
Judge Robert Pawson adjourned the case for trial and released Hibberd on conditional bail to have no contact with the complainant.
