Marlborough is preparing for three days of great music as Marlborough Rising holds its first events.
The group Scouting for Girls, who took Marlborough by storm when they turned the Christmas lights on in 2015, are to appear as part of Marlborough Rising tomorrow evening at 9pm.
The three-piece pop punk band will be on the Priory Gardens Stage for the first night of the festival. Support act will be George Wilding.
On Saturday Turin Brakes will headline in Priory Gardens and on Sunday it will be the turn of Joe Stilgoe.
There will also be acts performing at St Mary’s, St Peter’s and the Castle and Ball.
