OVER £200 was raised when a Marlborough man gritted his teeth and had his legs waxed to raise money for a colleague.

Conor Atcherley, 26, agreed to have his legs waxed at at Rejuvenesce Beauty Salon in Marlborough last week in order to raise funds for a colleague, Kelly, who has Cerebral Palsy and is saving up for a wet room to built at her house.

Mr Atcherley and Kelly both work for One Stop, With Mr Atcherley working in the Marlborough store and Kelly in the Salisbury store.

Mr Atcherley said: "I don't personally know Kelly, but I wanted to help her out by raising some money for her wet room, as I know she struggles to get in and out of the bath and things.

"I thought getting my legs waxed would be something that people may like to come and watch and enjoy seeing me in a bit of pain!

"It did sting but my legs have recovered now.

"I was really pleased with the amount I raised and hope that it will help towards building Kelly's wet room and making life easier."
