POLICE have launched an investigation after a shop in Pewsey was burgled overnight.
Officers were called to the Spar shop in North Street at 2.50am this morning (August 8) after two men were seen breaking in and the alarm had sounded.
Once inside the shop, the men targeted the ATM cash machine and stole an unknown amount of money.
The men, who were both wearing black clothing with hoods up, got into a black Audi estate which sped off in the direction of Marlborough.
Police enquiries are ongoing this morning and officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at this time who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, as well as anyone who may have been driving in Pewsey or Marlborough who may have dash cam footage of the vehicle used by the offenders.
