MAD hatters put on a dazzling performance as the mad hatter joined dancers on stage for a wonderland themed show.

Marlborough Academy of Dance pupils aged between four and 18, sung danced and acted through Welcome to the Mad House, a sell-out performance at the Wyvern Theatre.

Owner Cheryl Heuston choreographed performances from 192 children including tap, ballet, modern and street dance.

One of the parents commented, “I couldn’t believe what a professional show it was, my daughter is 8 and has been attending MAD with Cheryl since she was three it was completely amazing to see how Cheryl and her teachers have inspired the children who clearly loved every minute. Every single performance was a highlight.”

Ms Heuston, who has run MAD since its inception in 2013 said: “I could not be prouder of my students, from the 4-year-olds who do pre-primary ballet to my Grade 6 modern and pointe classes, they have worked so hard in rehearsals. Seeing so many children of all ages enjoying performing is what it’s all about.”

The sell out performance took place in Swindon on July 14.
