CONFIDENT Goatacre captain Sam Parish is sure his side will not get complacent in their last three games of the season.

They sit fifth in Glos/Wilts with no danger of going up or down but Parish knows his players will remain focused ahead of Lydney's visit on Saturday.

He said: "We are looking to consolidate fifth place but if things go really well and we win our last three we could catch Gloucester and steal fourth.

"The players here want to win and we have a point to prove against the sides we have left.

"We lost to Lyndey and Gloucester last time so want to put that right and we always have competitive games against Marlborough, who we have in our last game.

"There is certainly something for us in every match."

Parish's words were vindicated after watching his side breeze past bottom of the table Hatherley and Reddings. Steve Lines (53), Stephen Gee (83), Jonathan Wilkins (22) and Pete Turner (41no) easily reached the host's total.

Earlier, Adam Iles claimed 6-21 with Bradley Dawson (2-64) and Kevin Iles (1-36) supporting to put Goatacre in charge.

"We didn't bowl badly and we batted well. But we should have bowled them out earlier after we missed three run outs and dropped two catches, but that it is being ultra critical," said Parish.

"We've been punished when we made mistakes, but this time maybe we got away with a few things."
