DODGEBALL stars from Springfields Academy have claimed the trophy at Chippenham's dodgeball tournament after beating four other local teams.
Sean Care, Harley Carter, Daniel Clarke, Scott Bateson, Jamie Dimmer and Sonnet Fitzgerald Jones, all from Years 7 and 8 of the special educational needs school, defeated the four other teams with ease.
Jon Hamp, headteacher of Springfields, said: “We are extremely proud of our pupils – they came together and played as a team and saw off some still competition.
"They were a real credit to Springfields and emerged victorious as champions.
"It is a fantastic achievement that they will be representing Mid Wilts in the finals, and we will be cheering them on to bring home the gold again!"
