A SCHOOL girl is being flown to hospital with a serious leg injury after being hit by a bus outside Dauntsey's School this morning.
The bus collided with the ten-year-old on the High Street in West Lavington at around 8.30am this morning.
Paramedics from South Western Ambulance and Wiltshire Air Ambulance are treating the girl for serious leg injuries.
The road has now re-opened.
A Wiltshire police spokesman said: "We received a call at 8.30am this morning reporting an incident outside Dauntsey's School, in West Lavington, where a girl had been involved in a collision with a bus.
"Paramedics have been in attendance and the girl is due to be taken to hospital by air ambulance for treatment for a serious leg injury.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
The road reopened at 10.55am."
