DEVIZES carnival organisers are brewing up a celebration for February 23 and 24 that will help finance other events throughout the year.
Devizes Outdoor Celebratory Arts was delighted last year when its festival of winter ales was a sell-out and broke fundraising records.
It is now hoping to repeat the success with the festival at the Corn Exchange which will combine the chance to sample some specially selected ales and enjoy entertainment from a mouth juggler and a number of musical acts.
Malcolm Shipp of K&A Brewery said: “We’re delighted to be supporting this wonderful event for the fourth year running.
“Our own beers will feature but we already have a fantastic list coming together of the finest ales from around the country. With the circus entertainment and great live music, this has to be one of the most unique beer festivals in the region”.
Artistic director Loz Samuels said: “We couldn’t operate without this event.” For tickets, which cost £10 a session, go to docadevizes.org.uk.
