A SUMMER school has won a top award after being described as "action packed with something for everyone” by judges of the South West Tourism Awards.

Marlborough College took home a silver award in both the Artistic, Cultural and Learning Experience category for its annual summer school and International Visitor Experience category for its school of English & Culture.

Director of Enterprises, John Blake says he is delighted with the two awards. “For Summer School to achieve a Silver award for the second time and the School of English and Culture to win after only our second year of operation, is a wonderful reflection of all the hard work the team put in to giving our customers the best experience possible. We are now looking ahead to summer 2018 and will be going for gold!”

The Summer School is open to all ages and has been running since 1974 at the Marlborough site.

The South West Tourism Awards award ceremony was held in Torquay on February 1.
