PLANS to demolish the old Budo Club at the back of the former Queens Head pub in Dunkirk Hill, Devizes and to build a new house have been submitted to Wiltshire Council.
The judo club has found a new temporary home at Rowdeford School but is fundraising for a permanent home.
Now a firm of Bristol architects has applied to knock down the clubhouse and to build a contemporary new home with a zinc roof over single storey living accommodation and a two storey gable facing the main road.
In a report to the council agents say: “The development involves the construction of one dwelling with a garage”
