At Badminton just before Christmas, the Duke of Beaufort presented two cheques to great causes.
The first cheque for £7,000 was presented on behalf of the Badminton Ride to the Restoration Fund for the Parish Church of Badminton.
The Badminton Ride takes place annually on the Duke`s beautiful estate and is manned by many volunteers from the Beaufort Hunt of which the Duke is joint master.
The second cheque presented by the Duke was to Wiltshire Air Ambulance for £1,000. This came from the proceeds of the ever popular annual Beaufort Hunt Supporters Club Horse Show which is held on the Badminton Estate every August.
