MARKET day in Marlborough has been cancelled tomorrow due to forecasted strong winds.
The Met Office has released a yellow weather warning for strong winds between 6pm tonight and 6pm tomorrow night across the whole county as homes and businesses prepare for Storm Eleanor.
A Wiltshire Council spokesman said: "Unfortunately we have had to cancel Wiltshire Council run markets tomorrow in Trowbridge, Marlborough and Amesbury due to very high winds forecast. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause."
It is believed winds speeds could reach up to 80 miles per hour in some parts of the country as Storm Eleanor is expected to hit Northern Ireland, Scotland and the north of England today before moving south and reaching Wiltshire tomorrow.
