A CCTV image of a woman police would like to speak to in connection with the theft of hundreds of pounds worth of cosmetics in Chippenham has been released.
The image, which features a white woman, around 5ft7in tall, with long dark hair in a ponytail was seen placing the cosmetics into a shopping bag at Morrisons in West Cepen way before leaving the store without paying on November 27.
PCSO Elizabeth Duncan, from the Wiltshire North Community Policing Team, said: "A woman was seen in the store at around 12.15pm on 27 November, and she took a number of items from the shelves in the cosmetics aisle, putting them in the centre of the trolley before surrounding them with lower-value goods.
"She then walked to a quieter part of the shop and transferred the cosmetics to a shopping bag.
"We would like to speak to anyone who recognises the woman in the picture, or the woman herself, so she can help us with our investigation."
Anyone with information should contact PCSO Duncan on 101. Alternatively information can be left anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
