AN appeal for witnesses to come forward about seeing a burglary in Trowbridge has been lodged by the police.
A 22-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary in the block of flats in Prospect Place at 4.35pm on November 14.
Although he has been released under investigation, police are appealing for two men who could be potential witnesses to come forward and help with their enquires.
Detective Constable Kev Golledge said: "We believe two men, potentially contractors, were in the block of flats at the time conducting meter readings.
"They could be witnesses to this incident and we would like to speak to them as part of our enquiries. If this is you, or if you have any information in relation to these two witnesses, please contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
