A CYBER company has quadrupled its staff numbers in just three years and welcomed nine new workers since the start of this summer.

Security firm Foregenix is set to become 100 staff members strong by 2018 despite only having 20 workers in 2014.

With its headquarters in Marlborough, the company also operates in the USA, South Africa, Uruguay, Germany and Australia.

The recruitment drive was made possible after deals were made with companies including West Ham United and Nottingham Forest and shoemakers Start-rite.

Chief commercial officer Benjamin Hosack said: “The industry’s shortfall in experienced professionals makes it challenging to recruit the best.

“We’re regularly approached by professionals from rival firms who want to join us.

“We’ve also retained many of our people, which has been important to our success, through the opportunities we offer for advancement.”

CEO Andrew Henwood said: “We’ve experienced fantastic growth this year with new offices, product launches and partnerships.

“It’s not the end of the year though, and we expect to announce a new UK and international office shortly as well as many other successes.”

The firm offers high-level cyber security for businesses and develops software to uncover and prevent website security breaches.
