WOOTTON Basset Light Opera Society (WBLOS) is preparing to travel back through time for their own version of Back to the Future.
The cast is set on course to explore some of the most melodious, poignant and hilarious moments in their history.
Not only are they cruising the decades but they are being educated into the mysteries of time with the help of two comperes as tour guides.
Hourglass Enterprises, the alleged Time Cruise Company, may specialise in time travel but do they know enough about the 21st century to get everyone where they want to go?
Concert coordinator Kathy Sterry said: “Travelling through time with such talented performers is like solving a puzzle while singing and dancing along the yellow brick road. You never know quite where you will end up but you know it will be tremendous fun.”
The sensational, fun-packed musical event is taking place at the Memorial Hall in Royal Wootton Bassett on Thursday, September 28 and Friday 29.
An exciting 40th anniversary year for WBLOS began with the adventures of Little Red Riding in January, followed by some dancing under an umbrella as Singin’ In The Rain put a smile on everyone’s face. Joseph then told everyone about his amazing technicolour dreamcoat.
