POLICE have confirmed that two men died in the crash in Kingshill Road today.

Emergency services were called just after 12.30pm and the road has been closed ever since.

The crash happened near the junction with Clifton Street, and involved a white Honda motorbike.

Both the male rider and male passenger were declared dead at the scene and Wiltshire Police are now appealing for information.

The road will remain closed until at least 6pm while the incident is investigated.

Sgt Andrew Moreton, lead investigator, said: “I would appeal for anyone who was around the area at the time to let us know if they witnessed anything which might be relevant, or saw any unusual driving in the area around the time of the collision.

"A thorough investigation in to the cause of the collision is being carried out and I would be particularly interested in hearing from anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw the motorbike prior to the collision."
