SURPRISINGLY, there still remains a British naivety about Brexit. Leaving the EU means leaving the single market, leaving the Customs Union, regaining control of our legal system and regaining control of our borders.
More than 60 per cent of your readers in the Devizes constituency voted to leave the EU. It took more than 20 years for us to win the argument, but win it we did!
So now UKIP has turned its attention to policies for a newly independent Britain. One of these is housing.
With currently over an extra 250,000 people to accommodate each year, it is hardly surprising there is a housing crisis!
The change in policy must be to begin a new generation of council house building.
Included here must be an aim to prioritise community links when awarding social housing points, with particular attention to forces veterans.
Challenging times are ahead and UKIP is still a very relevant political party. It is still the second biggest party in this constituency.
