I WAS delighted to attend and help out at the town council family fun day held in Pewsham Park last Saturday afternoon. It was lovely to see so many families enjoying the fun day and the park.
There were a number of stalls run by various local voluntary organisations and thanks go out to them for all giving up their time to support the town council and councillors.
The tombola stall proved to be very popular and sold out in less than two hours. All proceeds from this will go to the Mayor’s charity, Springboard Opportunity Group.
Thanks also to the staff from Chippenham Town Council, the museum and Stanley Park for their help.
A number of community issues were raised and brought to my attention by local residents and as one of the town councillors representing Pewsham, I will continue to work closely with both Wiltshire Council and the town council to ensure that Pewsham remains a safe and vibrant place to live.
