Box produced a 7-wicket win against Bath Civil Service on Saturday.
Having won the toss Bath Civil Service elected to bat first and raced to 40 runs with only 8 overs gone through J.Down (15) and A.Carlin (15), before Down lofted a simple catch to Gerald Hayward off the bowling of Dave Crawford (3 for 30).
Carlin soon followed his fellow opener back to the pavillion when Crawford had him caught and bowled.
G.Randolph (45) and N.Price (29) restored some order to the innings as they took the score past three figures before Gerald Hayward (3 for 44) bowled Price with an excellent offcutter to leave Civil Service on 119 for 3.
The 4th wicket fell with the score on 138 when Hayward again the architect forced Randolph to sky a catch straight to Rich Bryant behind the stumps.
D.Addey (36) offered further resistance to the innings as he chanced his arm but became the first of Presanjit Gangulys (3 for 47) victims with a simple caught and bowled.
E.Wilmot (7) became Gangulys second victim when he edged behind to Bryant and R.Reed (12) became the Indians third wicket when he drove a catch straight to Rob Styles at Mid on.
Gerald Hayward picked up his third wicket by clean bowling C.Kille for a duck and Crawford grabbed his third also having Elliman (7) stumped by Bryant to leave the vistors on 204 for 9 from their alloted 45 overs.
In reply Box made steady progress through Neil Pettit (10) and Ganguly (69) before Pettit was given out LBW off the bowling of Wood (1 for 35).
Ganguly and Trotman (65 no) took the score to 104 before Ganguly departed after being caught and bowled by Elliman (2 for 54).
Hayward (33) joined Trotman at the crease to take the score to 162 when Hayward, going for one lusty blow too many, was stumped by J.Down off Ellimans bowling.
Debutant Darren Perrin (11 no) and Trotman took Box to 208 for 3 with 2.4 overs remaining to secure a fine win, which sets up this Saturday's first versus third clash against top of the table Spye Park nicely.
"Overall all this was a fine team performance once again. The teamwork has been key to all of our victories so far this season.
"Ganguly (Jitsy as he is known) finally got his first meaningful knock of the season. With the wickets hopefully drying out as the long hot summer approaches we are confident he can go on and grab his first century sooner rather than later.
"This Saturday will be a tough test as Spye Park sit unbeaten at the top of the table having just romped to victory at Buscot Park by 9 wkts on Saturday.
"We played Spye Park a few years ago when they were in the top division and lost narrowly. We only had ourselves to blame as we did drop SEVEN cathces on the day!!"
Dave Crawford
