WINNERS of the Action for the River Kennet photography competition, in partnership with Pete Davies Photography, received their prizes at the launch of the photography exhibition in St Peter’s Church, Marlborough, recently.
More than 40 entries embraced this year’s theme, "celebrating our chalk stream", with a high standard in both adult and 15 and under categories.
ARK project officer Anna Forbes said: “We wanted to celebrate places along the river with great public access, so this year we focused on three particular locations that provided this.
“The winning image, taken by Simon Baker of his wife Blair at the Ramsbury Triangle, encapsulated this theme perfectly.”
All images entered in the competition were on display at the exhibition at St Peter’s Church in Marlborough High Street along with images and information about ARK.
