MISS Katie Selina Louise Eels and Mr Thomas James Griffiths were married on Saturday, August 15 at St Michael and All Angels Church, Kington St Michael, in a service conducted by the Rev Gillian Parkin.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Lyndon Eels, of Chippenham, and the bridegroom is the only son of Mr and Mrs Griffiths of Barry, South Glamorgan, Wales.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an ivory chiffon and embroidered lace dress, with a full length veil and carried a beautiful cascade bouquet of roses, freesias and gypsophila.

She was attended by bridesmaids Charlotte Sekotill, Kelly Pagett, Hannah Griffiths, pageboy Ashton James Blick and baby flower girl, Niah Blick, who wore a dress to match the bridesmaids.

The church was filled with wonderful music and song with musician friends of the couple who played and sang throughout the service. This included the bride's sister Charlotte who sang a Welsh solo during the signing of the register accompanied by The Arcosanti String Quartet and Dr Christopher Kent on the organ.

After the service a reception was held at the Old Manor Hotel, Bradford on Avon.

The couple who met whilst studying at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, are both music teachers and have recently moved from London to Wiltshire where the bridegroom will take up a teaching post in Westbury. The bride is a classical singer and singing teacher and will continue her teaching in Chippenham and at St Francis School in Pewsey, where she will be assistant director of music.
