The Devizes and Roundway in Bloom committee has launched this year’s bid to go for a fifth gold in this year’s South West in Bloom competition.
Committee members, supporters and councillors met in Hillworth Park on Sunday to kick off the competition.
Sarah Williams, direct services manager at Devizes Town Council, said: “It went well; there was a great buzz.
“We want as many people to get involved as possible so we can keep our gold award.”
Groups taking part this year include Drews Pond Wood Project, along with several schools and pubs.
The campaign will also be celebrating local gardening heroes and the committee is asking for residents to nominate people.
Judging will take place in July. To enter the competition pick up an entry form from the Town Hall.
