VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help gather views on renewable energy as part of an on-going drive to deliver a Neighbourhood Development Order in Calne.
Calne Renewable Energy steering group are offering training on Monday between 10am and midday for volunteer interviewers.
Interviewers will then, with the full support of the group, look to speak to residents of Calne and Calne Without about renewable energy.
Acting chair of the group, Sophy Fearnley-Whittingstall, said: “We are looking to recruit more members. We have been working on the project for over a year now and we need more people to get involved and be active.”
“This is the first step of what will be quite a long community engagement process to see what people want.”
No specialist knowledge is required to assist the group with their vital community engagement process and full support will be given.
