People in Corsham community are being invited to two events to help shape youth activities.
The event, from 7pm on November 4 will encourage providers of youth activities to meet with local young people to help build and shape a new Local Youth Networkfor the Corsham community area.
Since the opening of the campus and Wiltshire Council’s decision to save money by axing most of its 144 youth workers, it has appointed community youth officer Xina Hart. She will have to work with the LYN and local providers to provide youth activities for the area.
Alan MacRae, chairman of the Corsham Area Board, said: “We are keen to make the most of the fantastic facilities at the campus and support local young people under this new community-led model.
“The new LYN forms a key element of this, and we want to engage with as many people as possible to ensure it has the best representation of local young people.”
