Devizes Quakers is hosting an illustrated talk by art historian and artist Paul Chapman about First World War art on October 3.

The talk will discuss young artists who served in war and their work that was inspired by the pain and destruction.

The group will also be launching a series of exhibitions at the meeting house titled Quakers Witness to Peace.

The talk starts at 7.30pm at Quaker’s Meeting House on Sussex Wharf and is free to attend, although there will be a collection at the end.
