Dog owners gathered at Silbury Hill last Sunday for a mass walk of their wire-haired fox terriers to raise awareness of the rescue charity Terrier SOS.
More than 30 dogs and their owners came from all over the county for the autumn equinox walk to Avebury.
Similar walks are held all over the country but this is the first of its kind in the Marlborough area and was organised by Burbage resident Debbie Mears.
Lizzie Hunter, 16, from Marlborough, and her mum, Kate, took their one-year-old puppy Barney on the walk.
Lizzie said: “Dozens of dogs and their owners took part, and it was great fun.
“Normally people stop us in the street to comment how few fox terriers are seen these days, but that certainly wasn’t the case on Sunday. ”
