Royal Wootton Bassett Orchestra hosted an open rehearsal of Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony at the Methodist Church.
On September 20, players of all abilities and ages headed to the church to take part, with audience members able to get involved too.
A spokesman from the orchestra said: “It was especially lovely to welcome some people who had never played in an orchestra before, as well as several children.
“Just before the final play-through, our director Alan gave our audience a guided tour of the orchestra, with each section standing and showing off their instruments.
“It was a great opportunity for the young children present to see how the orchestra fits together.”
