Police closed Caen Hill, Devizes, for over two hours yesterday after an accident involving two cars.
Wiltshire Police received a call at 1.38pm and attended along with ambulance and fire services.
The incident involved a blue Vauxhall Astra and a white Ford Fiesta.
There was a full closure of the road for safety reasons to remove the lamppost knocked over in the incident.
The road was fully reopened at 4.30pm.
South Western Ambulance Service was called at 1.42pm and three people were taken to the Royal United Hospital, Bath, one with a suspected broken pelvis.
