The amount raised at Devizes and District’s PHAB’S annual wheelchair and push has broken its fundraising record.
The event, in its 31st year, was held on May 17 and raised £3,453.30.
Of this, Devizes PHAB raised £2,450.55, the minibus account £421.50, the Wednesday Club £282.75, Hearing Dogs £150, Happy Hours £123.50 and Devizes Food Bank £25. The total for other charities was £1,002.75.
PHAB club president David Court presented thank you certificates to members who took part.
Members who had raised the highest amount for the event were presented with trophies by the club.
These were Chris Brewer-Scrivens and Flo Sandy.
Devizes PHAB brings together people with and without physical disabilities and would welcome new members, especially those who are able-bodied.
