Hardenhuish School’s charity week raised £1,780 for Cancer Research and Jemima’s Gift.
Jemima’s Gift is a fund set up to celebrate the life of ten-year-old Jemima Prees from Colerne who died in a skiing accident last year.
Money raised by the fund provides opportunities for other children to reach their full potential in sports, the arts and learning activities.
Pupils held a FIFA console game tournament, Easter egg hunt and competitions.
Students from year 7 tutor groups raised money for Cancer Research by selling badges to their peers during break times and lunchtimes.
Headteacher Jan Hatherell said: “There was a wonderful spirit of togetherness in all the activities and a lot of fun was had, by staff as well as pupils.
“It is fantastic to be able to support charities.”
