Strong community spirit and excellent entertainment were rife in the Bouverie Hall in Pewsey on Saturday, March 22.
A big thank you to audience and participants alike who supported the Pewsey Vale Bowls Club fundraising event on that evening.
The Cowbridge Male Voice Choir came from Wales, local ladies’ choirs The Pewsey Belles and Bellettes sang for us, and fresh from winning yet another competition, we also heard the Kennet Accordion Orchestra.
The varied programme had something for everybody and the audiences appreciation was reflected in the party atmosphere. It was a delightful combination.
The funds raised help towards major improvements to the bowls clubhouse, an ongoing project.
Look out for dates of our open day and you too might want to come along and join us. Thanks to everybody who supported us.
