Burbage Speedwatch Group is looking for new volunteer members to help tackle the problem of speeding in the village.
Wiltshire Police gave the village the go-ahead to set up a group after a recent survey in the village showed that speeding was a major concern.
Residents will work alongside the police and Wiltshire Council using speed guns to clock drivers exceeding the speed limit.
Those drivers will then receive an advisory letter or a visit from the police if they repeatedly speed.
The scheme will focus on Escort Road and the High Street where the speed limit is 30mph.
