Staff and volunteers at the British Heart Foundation’s charity shop in Devizes last week marked 20 years since it opened in The Brittox, the town’s main shopping street.
At the celebration in the Three Crowns pub in Maryport Street, volunteer Jane Mansfield received a long-service award in recognition of her help from the day the store opened.
Debbie Cheeseman, the BHF’s area manager, said: “We’ve enjoyed a fantastic 20 years of business in Devizes. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal customers and volunteers who really make this shop special and help the BHF fund its life-saving research.”
The BHF shop is always looking for more volunteers. To find out more, call (01380) 722155.
