1st Aldbourne Guides and leaders outside 10 Downing Street
Members of 1st Aldbourne Guides, along with adult leaders Linda and Heather Curtis, Abby Cheney and Monica Moreton, joined the Empower subcamp at the Kent International Jamboree.
There were 6,500 scouts and guides from over 30 countries involved in the jamboree.
While at the camp there was a visit to London during which Lily and Caitlin were enrolled at the top of the London Eye. A complete surprise for the girls was the visit to the door of 10 Downing Street where they spent 25 minutes taking photographs.
Both the Chief Guide (Gill Slocombe) and Chief Scout (Bear Grylls) visited the jamboree along with surprise guest TV star David Walliams.
