A dynamic export firm in Corsham is the cream of the crop after being selected for an award from the Queen.
Glyn Woolley, chairman of Coombe Castle International, will receive the Queen’s Award for International Trade from Her Majesty in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace in July.
The company, which exports British dairy products around the world, has sites in Corsham and Calne but is due to move to a new million-pound headquarters in Melksham later this year.
Managing director Darren Larvin said: “Receiving a Queen’s Award recognises the dedication of our people and the loyalty shown to us by suppliers and customers in more than 40 countries. Much of our growth comes from the US and Canada.”
The company was formed in Corsham in 1980 and to win the award it had to demonstrate sustained growth over three years.
