On Sunday I ran in the appropriately named Pewsey Terminator cross country race.
Four of us travelled down from Henley to take part and collectively experienced all types of physical pain in staggering up hills and fording rivers.
Despite this I would like to pay testimony to the team from Pewsey Running Club who organised the race as well as the good residents of the village who put up with some disturbance to their daily lives to accommodate us.
The whole event was a great advert for a beautiful and welcoming part of the country. Thank you one and all.
Mike Barry, Henley-on-Thames.
