Two Urchfont fundraisers are planning a dinner dance in the village next month to raise money to fight diabetes.
Jenny Holt and Sandra Johnston are organising the Italian-themed event in the village hall on Saturday, February 16, in aid of Diabetes UK.
Both women have family members with Type 1 diabetes and all profits raised will go towards research into the disease and services to children who suffer with it.
Tickets for the event are on sale at Urchfont village shop or from Mrs Holt on (01380) 840100 or Mrs Johnston on 848774.
The ticket price of £25 will include a glass of bubbly and canapes on arrival, a four-course meal and dancing to R&B band The Teddy White Band.
There will also be a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.
Mrs Holt and her husband Simon have raised more than £2,000 for Diabetes UK by holding pop-up restaurants at their home for the past year.
Mrs Holt said: “It has been great fun having groups of friends coming here for dinner, and a nice way to raise money for this worthwhile cause.”
