Calne police are looking for the owner of a red and white mountain bike, which they believe has been stolen.
The GT Outpost bike was recovered on Tuesday last week when police came across a group of a group of young men during a routine patrol in the early hours of the morning.
They didn’t catch two of them, who rode away on bikes before they could be stopped, but they did catch the two other men and stopped them near to Prince Charles Drive. The bike was confiscated from an 18-year-old shortly afterwards.
PCSO Nicole Yates said: “We stopped a group of lads and one couldn’t give us a good enough explanation of why he had the bike. We suspected it could be stolen so we have seized it from them. A lot of people tend to have things stolen and won’t report it, so we just want to see if anyone recognises it.”
If you recognise this bike call 101 and ask for PCSO 6309 Nicole Yates.
