GUYS & Dolls Jr, gave opportunities galore for the WBLets (Wootton Bassett Light Operatic Society's junior section) to fill the Memorial Hall stage with action and song.

Some entrances were through the auditorium in this lively tale of gangsters, gamblers, and the evangelists of the Save A Soul Mission.

Effective sets ranged from US city skyscapers to the palm-fringed shores of Havana, Cuba, and the show was peppered with romance, intrigue and well-loved numbers. The enthusaism of the cast was reflected in the audience's acclaim.

Brooke Bathurst was brilliant as Miss Adelaide, and Citty Aspell shone as Sarah Brown.

Adam Hubbard was Sky Masterson; Jacob Ferries was Nathan Detroit and other main roles were played by Charlie Jackson, Linus Davies, Ailsa McCarthy, Charlie Birt, Livvy Crowley, Adam Savory and Oliva Rogers.

The Crapshooters included Lane Stow as Big Jule, with Cerys Barker, Isla Marshall, Emily Hubbard, Alex Trueman and Luca Zielinski. The Mission Band, Hot Box Girls and townspeople all added to the fun.

WBLOS is fortunate in having such a wealth of youthful talent to ensure success in the years ahead.

New members are always welcome and WBLets caters for young people aged 6-18 years. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings.
