LOCAL drama group Shakespeare Live, who are very well known locally for their annual outdoor Shakespeare week at Lackham, have just returned from their fourth consecutive annual visit to perform at the Royal Shakespeare Company's outdoor venue in Stratford upon Avon, The Dell.
This year's play, Seven Ages or What You Will, devised and directed by Gill Morrell, was enthusiastically received by large audiences. Two main performances were supplemented by a pop-up show outside the main RSC theatre, and even the early morning dress rehearsal was watched by large numbers of tourists and locals.
The play will tour locally this autumn to four venues, for all of which tickets are already on sale: The Mission, Bath, on Thursday, October 1; The Pound, Corsham, on Saturday, October; The Wharf, Devizes, on Monday, October 5; and St Margaret's Hall, Bradford on Avon, on Wednesday, October 7. Tickets cost £10 direct from the theatres or via the Shakespeare Live box office on 07780 938107.
