SINGER-songwriter Chloe Foy is to play two gigs in Wiltshire as part of her UK Autumn tour.

The Gloucestershire-via-Manchester musician will appear at the Pound Arts Centre in Corsham on Friday at 7.30pm and at Trowbridge Town Hall on Saturday at 8pm.

The concerts are part of a 15-venue UK tour that began on October 1 in Birmingham and ends on October 21 in Guildford.

Chloe, 29, hails from Gloucestershire and has light distinct vocals. She takes inspiration from classical music as much as from wider transatlantic trends in folk and indie music.

She started her musical journey at the early age of four when her mother noticed she had a very natural musical ability.

Chloe was enrolled at the Gloucester Academy of Music where she was classically trained in piano and cello.

Her poetic lyrics create a very pure, melodious and enchanting sound and she is finally touring her debut album Where Shall We Begin.

She is inspired by songwriters like Gillian Welch, Edith Piaf and Tyler Ramsay, and producers like Blake Mills and John Congleton.

The resulting album and single Work of Art revolves around Foy’s spine-tingling, pure vocals and her near perfect song writing.

Tickets for the concerts are on sale now at £8 each from Pound Arts on 01249 701628 and from Trowbridge Town Hall on 01225 774306.
