Bell by the Green, Devizes

Friday, March 30

THIS Kent-based self-styled “emotronic” band were last seen in Devizes nearly two years ago, supporting local act Make Out Kids at The Corn Exchange.

They subsequently split after some extreme circumstances brought the band to a halt; these same circumstances have forced this 12 date reunion tour.

They sound like fast pop punk, with loads of electronica and some hilarious lyrics about girls bra’s With an album and EP already in the bag, from which they will be selecting tracks to play, the atmosphere is going to be of one nostalgic p-a-r-t-y.

Main support comes from promoter Sheer Music’s first Salisbury act of the year, in the shape of These Days, who play a complimenting epic rock.

Less pop and more rock, the band have, though in their early days, already recorded a two-track EP and superb video.

With all members previously being in other bands, you get the impression the band mean business this time, that all their naivety is done with and this is the real deal. Their set is guaranteed to be awesome.

An established act opens proceedings, Melksham area ska punk band, Hell Death Fury, who feature a classic, straight up, ska punk sound.

Fast, furious and led by a saxophone, they will set the tone for the night superbly.

Doors 8pm, 8.30-9pm Hell Death Fury, 9.15-9.45pm These Days, 10-10.45pm Mexicofallz.
