Missed the UK’s most exciting and successful underground punk band when they played in the county last year? Don’t make the same mistake when they play The Victoria in Swindon on Wednesday, February 25.
Promoters Sheer Music are delighted to bring Brighton-based Gnarwolves and their tight, brisk, two-minute, literature-infused ‘gruff punk’ sound back to Swindon as part of a whistle-stop tour of the south.
The three-piece, who released their self-titled debut album last year, opened for blink-182 in Italy, and performed at Reading and Leeds festivals, have just finished a European tour.
Support comes from the hardcore Plymouth-based Boxkite, and opening the show will be one of Swindon’s newest pop punk bands, As The Sun Sleeps, whose saccharine pop should be the perfect foil for the later acts.
Doors 8pm, tickets £7 in advance or £10 on the door, from the venue or on www.wegottickets.com/event/305623
