IF you feel like being transported from the rainy town centre streets of Swindon to a cornucopia of different tastes and flavours, all sizzling in their dishes, then look no further than this pan-Asian, all-you-can-eat restaurant.

No bookings were being taken on the night that we visited so we made sure to arrive ten minutes before opening to guarantee a table, but the place is vast, so we needn't have worried.

We joined the queue of eager families and couples, as the last few dishes were prepared and the impressive desserts put in their place.

The children were jumping up and down at their first sight of a chocolate fountain tucked away in the corner.

Soon after we were seated and it was surprising how quickly all the tables filled up. Obviously word had got round long before and there was no shortage of clientele.

After ordering drinks, it was basically all systems go to pick a plate and dive in.

There is a dizzying array of choice, from curries and classic Chinese dishes to the more pedestrian onion rings, popcorn chicken and chips.

Add to this a sushi section, which you could watch being made, to the Japanese Teppanyaki grill and selection of tempura, there should be something for all tastes.

We made our way through the deep-fried crab claws (excellent), mussels in cream sauce (not so sure) and salt and pepper king prawns. The sushi was popular, although we steered clear of the wasabi. My son was super animated, munching excitedly through a big pile of crispy seaweed with no qualms.

The dessert section caused much excitement, with mini versions of much loved dishes such as creme brulee and tiramisu available to try. For the more calorie conscious there was a choice of fruit. For children there were cones ready to be filled with a choice of ice creams and an assortment of sweets.

The bill came to around £54 for two adults and two children, with a drink each, which was good value, and primary school friends are already being invited to future birthday parties here, such was the excitement it created.
