A popular Wiltshire cafe has been forced to close after a power outage on one of the hottest days of the year.
The Kingfisher Cafe, a venue at the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s Langford Lakes, has been shut for the remainder of Tuesday, May 26, after losing power during the morning.
The cafe is due to reopen on Wednesday, May 27, by which point it is expected that the issue will have been resolved.
Langford Lakes is one of Wiltshire’s most popular attractions and boasts four lakes where birds including kingfishers and lapwings can be spotted.

A spokesperson for the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust said: “Unfortunately the Kingfisher Cafe has had to close today (Tuesday, May 26) as there is no power.
“They will reopen again tomorrow (Wednesday, May 27).
“We apologise for the late notice and any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.”
Tuesday is expected to be a busy day for the lakes as temperatures remain high after a scorching bank holiday weekend.
The Met office has forecast temperatures as high as 32 degrees for much of Tuesday and is it expected that the weather will remain hot throughout the rest of the week.
