Wiltshire residents are being encouraged to get out and explore the countryside over Easter.
North Wessex Downs National Landscape has published two new free and family-friendly walks to its website.
A 3.5-mile circular walk around the Pewsey Vale leads families through Wiltshire's industrial heritage.
Starting at Wilton Windmill - the oldest working windmill in Wessex - the route follows a Roman road and the Kennet & Avon canal, passing the nationally-significant Crofton Beam Engines.
The windmill can be accessed all year round, with guided tours of the interior being offered from 2pm until 5pm every Sunday from Easter Sunday.
Crofton Pumping Station houses the world's oldest beam engine, which was installed in 1812 to pump water back up the summit of the Kennet & Avon Canal to stop it running dry.
Although the pump is driven by electricity on a day-to-day basis, the mighty coal-powered beam engines will be 'in steam' on Easter weekend, April 5 and 6, from 10am to 4.30pm.
Meanwhile, a six-mile circular walk around the Hampshire North Wessex Downs encourages visitors to explore the countryside that inspired Richard Adams’ classic novel Watership Down.
The circular walk is part of the 24-mile Watership Down Trail and takes in the historic Ladle Hillfort. A detour to Honeycomb Warren, the warren that inspired the leporine adventures of Hazel, Bigwig and Fiver can also be followed.

Later in the holiday, visitors can enjoy one of the country's best displays of bluebells at West Woods, near Marlborough.
The wildflowers typically flower between mid-April and early May, depending on the spring weather. Climate data suggests the floral displays will be earlier this year.
The extensive beech woodland - originally part of the royal hunting forest of Savernake - is criss-crossed with tracks and trails, and the Wansdyke - an early‑medieval earthwork which spans from Somerset to Wiltshire - runs through it.
North Wessex Downs National Landscape spans an area across Wiltshire, Hampshire, West Berkshire and Oxfordshire, with 40 per cent of the Area of the Outstanding Natural Beauty in Wiltshire.
Wiltshire Council is the "host authority" which oversees the work of the organisation.
