HEATRE Royal Bath has announced that two new productions will take to the stage in 2022.

The Homecoming by Harold Pinter will star Mathew Horne and Keith Allen ahead of a UK tour.

Bath favourite Penelope Keith is set to star in a new production of Two Cigarettes in the Dark visiting the Theatre Royal as part of a UK tour.

Tickets for both productions - which can be purchased by members this week – are on sale to the general public from September 8.

A brand new staging of Harold Pinter’s masterpiece The Homecoming starring Mathew Horne and Keith Allen will be directed by Jamie Glover.

Produced by Theatre Royal Bath Productions, the UK tour opens in Bath appearing at the Theatre Royal from Wednesday, March 30 to Saturday, April 9.

This bleakly funny exploration of family and relationships is a modern classic, which won four Tony Awards on Broadway in 1967 including Best Play.

Meanwhile, Penelope Keith is set to perform at the Theatre Royal for the first time in a decade when she stars in Stephen Wyatt’s bitter-sweet comedy Two Cigarettes in the Dark, directed by Alan Strachan.

This new play visits the Theatre Royal from April 18-23 as part of a UK tour produced by Jonathan Church Theatre Productions and Cambridge Arts Theatre.
