I first saw this particular home some years ago and although it didn’t come to the market at that time I’ve remembered it ever since so I’m so pleased to no have the chance to show it to you. The owners have been waiting to find their next home before taking the plunge and they have now done so, so now is your chance!

Whilst I will try to describe this as best I can I think it’s fair to say that you really will need to come and take a look to understand the character, charm and space this home has.

Walking inside you have the most wonderful split-level reception hall with oak flooring, it really is a feature to the home, the open fireplace and exposed beams have you looking at all angles taking the detail in and this continues throughout. The current owners have this as a pretty impressive dining room which works so well but there are options to decide on, it is also where you get to choose staircases, but we’ll come back to that.

Diverting off to the front left of this space you have a wonderful size reception room which again gives versatility, currently the most amazing office space it can also be family room, dining room if you wish or indeed anything else that takes your fancy.

Wandering through to the back of the home you have a cool kitchen / breakfast room with glazed roof, yes glazed, which creates its own feeling of drama .... in a really good way, and allows the light to flood in along with the doors that then lead directly out into the walled garden. You can see that colour is also a theme with these owners, nothing dull about this home.

Now to the main living room, or dance hall or party room or frankly whatever else you decide this space can be. The ceiling height is just WOW as are the doors and windows that again keep this period home so very light and bright and allow you to spill out onto the gardens. The stunning flooring and open fire just keep giving more and more reasons why you would want this space to be yours, not to mention the fact that the owners have a band in here at Christmas!

Choosing staircase one takes you to the master suite, a whole floor just for you and it really works. The en suite alone is large enough for a gathering, each to their own, with vast circular tub which feels like you could do swimming lessons in is inset to a panelled surround with window above, lovely to wallow in.

The master bedroom itself is then also a great size with beautiful feature box bay window you can walk into and then built in wardrobes leaving all the floor space for the largest bed you can find!

Staircase number two (you had forgotten hadn’t you) then takes you to two further bedrooms, both nice double rooms with the most stunning exposed beams, truly lovely. You have a semi-vault feature to the ceilings too, again something that just adds to what this home is all about, interest, features, and warmth.

The garden is your Oasis in town, so quiet when I was here and apparently the norm so a place to relax or entertain. The combination of exposed brickwork and established planting really does provide interest yet have you feeling relaxed, I could have happily chilled here for quite some time, but there was work to do.

Parking has always been a question that has arisen here but the owner (who seem the honest type) say they have never found it to be a problem and they have been here 14yrs so should know. With two permits that you can flip registrations on you do seem to have what you need.

So, all in all I love this place, could live here and didn’t really want to leave but suggest you come along and take a look
